The Glaug is a command battle pod used by the Zentradi forces in Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Larger and more heavily armed than the standard Regult, it serves as a commander’s unit. The Regult is the standard mass-production battle pod of the Zentradi army and forms the backbone of their forces. It is a two-legged mecha with a rounded central body, armed with medium particle cannons and optional missile launchers. Designed for swarming tactics, Regults are deployed in overwhelming numbers, relying on quantity rather than durability. While lightly armored and vulnerable compared to Valkyries, their sheer numbers and speed make them a formidable threat in large-scale battles.
